Badly cut. Thats the first thing. Youve just gone and scrubbed it up and i think it sounds awful, especially the drop. Also what did you use for that bass, i reccomend using serum. I have to cut you some slack on the drums tho, they seem pretty cool.

I hope your kid liked it, but tbh its a big mess for me. I hope this helps :)

LASERBEAST responds:

5 minutes using gross beat to remix in FL studio will do that to a song :P

i think i grabbed some random kicks and snares that @Xtrullor sent me.

Really good, the melody is catchy and id say there is no clickiness or extra frequency, just.... for the love of god stop using Geometry Dash pictures for your image cover, the look of your track is just as importand as the music itself. I could make you a disk cover every now and then if you like, it just brings attention that is not for the song but for the hope that they may be a GD reference in it.

Have a good day :)

Ryzmik responds:

Hehe thanks so much! About the image, it's the icon that I use in GD, and is the only thing I have for putting in the disk cover. Also I had no intention of using this image for clickbait and I don't want that people think that or something, but I don't have another image related to my music, and I think I will not use those typical disk covers yet. I'm sorry if that annoys you (And sorry if I don't speak english well).

Not bad! Reminds me of heartbeat by snooddood. My only problem is its repetitive with no melody, it is cool tho

LockedGaming responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah... the sounds do seem to repeat throughout the whole thing. I will take this into consideration for my next track. :)

How has this got 118 views yet no reviews. Well have mine, im glad i found this because utninvolves everyhing under the spectrum under the sun. Im marking this around f-777 level. I like the bass at the drops but i also like how its considerably slow compared to some others that are similar

ActualElf responds:

Thank you! I spent days chipping away at this track and it really means a lot that you enjoyed it, makes the sleepless nights totally worth it ^^

I know I'm not one to comment on mixing but it doesn't appear to be done very well at all. It also sounds a bit... 1990... I know its a nineties song but still. After the drop you started being mumbo jumbo with the pitch and it sounds awful. All that out of the way, have a good day

mutty99 responds:

The pitch modulations were added to make the remix less repetitive. Personally i prefer it this way than removing the "mumbo jumbo" section you've mentioned, which works as a bridge for the second drop.
Said that, have a good day too.

this...

This is what ive needed my whole life.

Have this review, treasure it. I'll treasure this song.

Legendary.

Ive strolled over this and Im the third view. I want atleast 30 thousand more on this. I dont think ive ever been more avid on the favourite button. Its just so dreamy, one ofthe best songs anyway but this remix is the icing on the cake...

and what a hell of a cake youve gone and iced!

Very nice job on this :) glad, no wait ECSTATIC that i found this. Thank you for making such grace DerpCatOfficial.

Ill allways look out for your music in future :)

DerpcatOfficial responds:

Omg thank you :)))

Slapping together 100% cymatics sounds and not telling people about it dosent make you a good producer

ELEPS44 responds:

hahaha the only thing that has cymatics are the dums and the build up after the drop has nothing of cymatics xDD

I like the pentatonic dubstep style, this reminds me of a piece by someone called er nie who is Chinese and makes classical Chinese music. Probably my favourite part is how it doesn't have a generic build up and instead the growls just kinda roll in naturally and it just flows like a river, at 6 seconds in it starts to sound a bit detuned like i pipa (why do i know so much about china?) which is a nice taste and fits the theme, as is reflected in the growls, like an angry dragon :O, overall I love it, I cant wait for it to be finished because this is (honestly) one of the best things I ever heard. I know you wont appreciate me talking about GD in a review (its annoying) but I'm referring to it purely because i play GD and don't make films for Newgrounds etc, but I can see this being a hit, being used by famous people in their levels. I'd really be interested in knowing what you used to get those growls, its like a metallic clutterfunk thing, Anyway, I mustn't drag on, Id recommend to anyone who likes dubstep and tell my friends to check it out, see you (sorry about bad speeling, i keep getting lagged by a dna website that i don't care about) bye!

nitrokill217 responds:

Thanks for that review bro, I will polish the sound up to make it better than it already is lol. I'm really happy that there's not much to improve on and to hear that you "can't wait for it to be finished".
I really don't mind you referring to Geometry Dash because I play it too.
One thing that I could improve on is transitioning the drums in at the start and giving everything a "fuller" Sound.

Anyway, your review is much appreciated, so thank you so much.

N7k.
